Founded in 1949, Mangharams ltd. was established as textiles trading company in Colombo ( Ceylon ). Dealing in fine quality shirting fabrics and piece goods, the company soon established itself as one of the top traders in the region. Flourishing business fueled the base for an extensive network of sourcing and distribution, and by the mid 1960s had set a formidable foundation for generations to grow and develop from.

Today, although still a family owned and controlled business, the Mangharams –group, consists of offices and associates, throughout Far East Asia and the Indian sub continent, employing over 200 persons, and is now a cohesive network which sources the best materials, designs & develops, manufactures and supplies a wide range of apparel.

Even thought having diversified into a variety of other products and services, shirting textiles and shirt production continues to be the mainstay of the group, which still enjoys steady and healthy growth.

With over 50 years experience, we still find we are just at the beginning of our aspirations. With continually changing markets and demands, Mangharams is constantly evolving and improving to meet the challenges of the new day….
